Come and share the experience strength and hope in the Voices From AFAR
Over the past few years, a growing number of artists and songwriters have been carving out their souls in song
on their journey towards recovery. This year by a wonderful series of coincidences some of these powerful voices
were brought together to create a project so profound that it will surely touch and change the lives of many.
"Music has the power to express the things we can't always find the words to say," say singer/songwriter,
Creative Director Stephanie Urbina Jones. "We were passionate about recording material that honored the truth of the
process from the depths of the bottom in 'You're Not My God' to the freedom found in 'Chiselin Out
My Soul.' The Voices from AFAR not only inspires and validates real life experience but most importantly reminds
us that we are not alone"
"Our goal in producing this CD," says AFAR's Elizabeth Griffin, "is to raise the general awareness of the
healing process and to help generate money to support AFAR's addiction research." The profits of the CD will go
to support AFAR funded projects."
"We are finding that, in these uncertain times, many of us are hungry for more... and that's
what Voices from AFAR is: Food for the Soul "
