Restoration Circle

A Group for Mental Health Professionals

Who Are Healing from Betrayal Trauma

Mental health professionals who have experienced betrayal trauma often face a quiet, particular kind of isolation. The role that equips you to hold space for others can also make it harder to find resources and support for your own healing. Access to trauma-informed care that understands the professional world you live in is not always easy to find, and that gap can leave you navigating your own restoration alone.

AFAR created Restoration Circle to change that. This group is designed to support you in reclaiming your own healing journey, with the depth, confidentiality, and peer understanding this work requires, alongside others who truly understand what it means to be both the helper and the one who needs help.

What You Can Expect

Restoration Circle offers a full year of consistent support, education, and connection, including:

  • Presentations from leading voices in trauma, recovery, and mental health

  • Support, encouragement, and accountability

  • A true peer group of fellow professionals walking a similar path

  • Facilitation by experienced betrayal trauma facilitators

This is not a training or a continuing education course. It is a healing space, built for you as a person first.
