A Recovery Group for Mental Health Professionals in Recovery from Sex/Porn Addiction

Mental health professionals carry a unique weight when it comes to their own recovery. The very role that equips you to help others heal can also make it harder to find a safe place to be helped yourself. Local 12-step meetings and community recovery groups are not always built with confidentiality, dual relationships, or professional identity in mind, and that gap can leave clinicians isolated in the very journey they guide their clients through every day.
AFAR created Healers Group to close that gap. This is a space built specifically for mental health professionals navigating their own recovery from sex and porn addiction, with the privacy, peer understanding, and clinical depth that this work requires.
