Building a stronger field together
The people working in sex and pornography addiction treatment are often confronting many of the same challenges—but doing so separately.
AFAR is working to change that.
We are developing the Coalition of Sex & Porn Addiction Treatment Centers, a professional
community bringing together treatment centers, clinicians, researchers, and leaders across the field.

The Coalition is intended to create an ongoing space for collaboration around the issues affecting treatment and the profession: sharing knowledge, identifying common challenges, strengthening connections between research and practice, and finding opportunities to advance the field collectively.
Membership will include treatment facilities of different sizes, small practices, and individual CSATs, allowing organizations and professionals across the field to participate.
The coming months will focus on building the Coalition’s founding membership, engaging facilities and clinicians, and developing programming around the issues members identify as most important.
If your organization or practice is interested in being part of the Coalition, we would love to hear from you.
